Entre la sortie du Service Pack 1 de Windows Vista, celle de Windows Server 2008 et enfin le Service Pack 3 de Windows XP, une mise à jour de nos logiciels préférés de virtualisation semblait nécessaire. C’est donc d’actualité puisque Microsoft nous propose rien d’autre qu’un Service Pack 1 pour VPC 2007 et une mise à jour pour VS 2005 R2 SP1.
Ce service pack 1 pour VPC 2007 permet dorénavant de prendre en charge :

- Windows Vista® Business, Enterprise and Ultimate Edition avec Service Pack 1 (SP1)
- Windows Server® 2008 Standard
- Windows XP Professional with Service Pack 3

- Windows XP Professional avec Service Pack 3
Téléchargez : Microsoft Virtual PC 2007 SP1 FR (32 et 64 bits) – Version 6.0.192.0 et son Release Notes.
Concernant Virtual Server 2005 R2 SP1 c’est une « simple » mise à jour à installer qui ajoute la prise en charge :
